Series Miniland, 2008
The theme Miniland is inspired by the Japanese Zen garden. The artist is invited to imagine a receptacle for the vegetation and giving his own interpretation of a landscape inciting to meditation. Unlike the vase where the content enhances the container, the process is reversed here, as the container becomes the main object. The vegetation is imposed in order to give a unity and the ball moss was chosen for its specificities and its fine and regular aesthetic qualities.
