“Palais Bulles” of Pierre Cardin
French Riviera - 2020
The Arch of Eternity

With an architectural shape “The Arch of Eternity” symbolizes a transition between different worlds ; an access to a new horizon, the piece was especially realized to face the shores of the Mediterranean Sea on the peak of the Palais Bulles. This astonishing villa designed by the architect Antti Lovag in Théoule-sur-Mer was listed as a historical monument and everything from the inside evokes the sensuality of a female body.

The artist Patrice Breteau who was commissioned by Gauchet Fine Art as one of the “official artists of N.A.S.A.” shares a message of peace turned towards the future of humanity.

From the inside the piece illustrates birth, the middle part suggests our evolution “our path” ; its shape facing the sea opens to our future and suggests a notion of eternity.
